Being evicted. How to cancel internet & electricity without incurring early cancellation fee?

I know there's an option to transfer it to your new home but that's not a luxury I have.

I was going to suggest that. :( In your new home, would they be willing to switch to your current provider?

Make sure your landlord has done everything properly and they have served the correct amount of notice.

If they switch they'll be charged a late cancellation fee.

Could you tell them youre moving to a house that isnt covered by them? That way if theyre unable to provide service you wouldnt be breaking contract. We got out of our eir contract for thst reason

When I moved out of my last place the electricity provider (Energia) said they don’t charge cancellation fee (which to be fair is only €50) if the person is moving out of the address.
