Just got more excited since Leinster team announced. No surprises but what a team. Atmosphere building around Dublin...enjoy...its gotta be the fifth!

It's a tough one to call.

One is a team of juggernauts with a frightening squad capable of genuine destruction of anyone they've faced. They're helmed by a shrewd young but experienced Irish coach still revered by loyal supporters from his playing days. Cut his teeth coaching for a period in New Zealand and steered his team towards European success as a player on more than one occasion.

    The other is La Rochelle

Could you at least edit the thread title to clarify which Heineken Cup match we're talking about

On paper the LAR team has been strengthened on last years with their new halfback pairing and the Leinster one is weaker than last years without sexton.

Home advantage could be key, But This is a game thats all on the day and wont be more than one score unless something freakish happens like a red card or someone had a terrible day.

Massive test for Ross Byrne, for the sake of irish rugby i hope it goes well for him but he is also the player with the least experience and biggest role to play, he needs to nail an early kick to settle into it.
