Black pudding recipe

Bought some pigs blood in the Asia market last weekend - anyone have a black pudding recipe they'd recommend?

Think i did that one years ago , although i cheated and cooked it in a deep baking tray in the oven ,

I did one with fresh bread crumb soaked in milk instead of oats , and less allspice than most of the Irish puddings , more like the french one

The blood sold in Asian shops is usually already coagulated. Are you sure it's suitable for pudding?

I've had it in Chinese soups.

Turns out it was coagulated blood alright but I stuck it in the blender to liquidise it. Putting in the oven now and hoping for the best

Good, similar texture to Clonakilty - slightly crumblier than you'd want, will add less oats next time. Could probably do with a bit more salt also but overall pretty good 👍
