Septic tank pump to empty sewerage

Hi all

Apologies if this has gone in a wrong section. I have a septic tank at home...does anybody have any recommendations on a pump that would suck the sewerage from the tank and pump it out through an outflow pipe? (Hoping to pump it out into the field 5-10 yards away. I have been slopping it out for years with a bucket but its getting too hard for me now. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I'm a farmer...the field is mine.

I just wanted recommendation for a small pump. If people have any.

Even farmers can't legally just dump domestic sewage on their fields like that.

Illegal. Some people haven't experienced farm life clearly.

Only looking for dirty water pumps. Any recommendations let me know.

Not interested in snowflakes telling me il go to jail for clearing my own septic tank lol.

The outflow pipe is meant for water .. not sewage from the tank going to a percolation area.. mustn't be working right

To abide by the law and not have the ignorance of adding pollutant to the planet, I pay €170 every 2 years to have my septic tank drained. It’s not exactly extortionate. Please don’t put all people living in the country in the same slurry pit as the OP. I think the OP is literally on the piss take.

I think I may have more experience than you, as I have a acetic tank and have lived in the countryside for over 60 years ago. Fifty years ago an odd farmer would empty the tank with the slurry tank and spread it on distant fields. Those days are long gone. As a farmer I'm surprised you haven't easy access to a tractor and slurry tank.

A real farmer would say 'I have a septic tank tank on the farm' not ' I have a septic tank at home'.

I also don't know of any farms on the IW network, at least not where I live.

Farmers can de-sludge their own system only. They must comply with all legal rules or directions including:

Waste Management (Use of Sewage Sludge in Agriculture) Regulations 1998;

Waste Management (Use of Sewage Sludge in Agriculture) (Amendment) Regulations 2001; and

European Communities (Good Agricultural Practice for Protection of Waters) Regulations 2010.

My brother has a bord na mona treatment unit and the pump died a few years ago. He bought a stainless steel submesible pump for dirty water in the uk and its seems to be working fine since.

You could try some of the sewage companies and see what they stock as most treatment units will have some sort of dirty water pump included in the set up. https://cmdenvironmental.ie/product-category/pumps/
