N26 & Wages set up

Apologies, I know it may have been asked before , my employer trying to set up my wages to go into my N26 account , they use Bank of Ireland Business account. The issue is the sort code ,which we know Irish accounts have 6 digits , N26 has 8

Has anyone an idea how I can help employer setting payment up 🤔 IBAN & BIC fine but a sort code is being requested also.

Who's requesting the sort code? Banks don't need it anymore. It sounds like your employer is using some out of date payroll software, in which case they're engaging in IBAN discrimination, which is illegal: https://www.centralbank.ie/consumer-hub/explainers/what-is-iban-discrimination-and-what-can-i-do-about-it. It's your employer that needs to fix this, neither BOI nor N26 can or will assist

They use Collsoft I believe but the issue is with Bank of Ireland apparently.

Tey to use an IBAN calculator website. Enter your IBAN nmand it will give a sort code. N26 for UK customers give a 6 digit sort code.

My employer is with BOI and they don't have a problem with N26, nor Revolut or even Bunq my colleagues have. Must be a payroll software limitations, especially if it's a UK software.

Thanks for that. So spoke to Bank of Ireland Business today and Bizzarely sort codes ares required for batch files such as payroll, each person's sort code required seemingly. The issue is N26 have 8 digit Sort Code (which the bank were unaware of) and their system only allows for 6 digit sort code.

With regard to the payroll software, no issue but as Payments processed through BOI, problem can't be resolved. Only way around it, bizzarely is to set me up as an individual payee using IBAN from N26.
