How to go about selling old estate timber

Client looking to revitalise their old estate forest and will be looking to fell large broadleaves. Lots of what is there is ash but some old beech and sycamore.

I reckon lots of firewood but is there any market for logs? Probably alot of spalted timber.

Perhaps ask the folks at GMIT Letterfrack, Their students past and present, and the college itself represent potential customers or may know of folk who are.

I'm on the look out for some logs for post and beam construction, would need to be greener/ unspalted for this though. As for the more spalted stuff, could it be planked and sold as live edge slabs for table tops etc.? Seem to be very popular at my local sawmill and fetch a good price.
