Deeds

    After having cleared the mortgage over a year ago, we have sent not one but two letters requesting our title deeds as per the instructions. We have made phone calls where the deeds section don't answer their phone lines. We tried several times but lose the will to live after 40 minutes on multiple occasions. No other section that at least answers their phone is able to help. The best we've gotten is a letter several months ago apologising for the delay. Did we not perform the correct rain dance under a full moon or something? What else can we possibly do? Must we pursue this through the Financial Ombudsman?
