Does anyone know of a specialist in Candida in Ireland?

I've been dealing with very explicit symptoms of it (concentrated rash) for years now. It gets worse upon eating sugar or consuming alcohol so it's absolutely Candida. But the useless doctors will only prescribe a cream for it and know absolutely nothing. I even went on with a webdoctor and she gave me a 'referral' but refused to give me a prescription too. Eventually I ended up acquiring a bunch of Fluconazole myself from the UK and self dosing but it didn't do the job. I have heard of a more recent IV treatment called Micafungin (Brand name Mycamine) that is much more effective, does anyone know of a doctor in Ireland that would prescribe that?

I can't really help with your question but just in case you didn't know there are many groups on Facebook made of people with similar issues. I'm in a SIBO one and there are many helpful tips about banishing chronic candida infections. Many of these tips focus on starving the candida and using different medicinal herbs to kill it. You might find something there.

    Hi,

There was a lady in D15 Shine Nutrition who was great. It involved a full detox from sugar, coffee, alcohol and yeast. She was great but not sure if still active but worth looking up for yourself.
