Sunday game. Hurling vs football

I think it has come to a point where RTE need to split hurling and football into two different programmes, one on Sunday night, the other on Monday, and maybe alternate each week. I don't want to be waiting for ages watching football, when all I am interested in is hurling, and I'm sure it's vice versa for the football folk. It's like the BBC showing a few frames of snooker before match of the day in the same programme.

It's never going to happen. And I don't see anything wrong with it. You don't want to watch football, but I do and I am a hurling man.

    I agree

They are literally two different sports. It’s akin to showing highlights of Soccer and Rugby on the same show. Doesn’t make sense anymore with the amount of matches taking place

If you are happy enough to watch it on Monday, you could record it on Sunday and fast forward through it on Monday. They would have to find a spot in the schedule, displacing material which non sports people want to watch. It couldn't be 8pm to 9pm, because that is the TG4 GAA slot on Mondays.
