Anyone any idea how to find the sort code of an AIB account when the branch has closed?

What's the Branch? You'll probably find it online handy enough.

Find out which branch took over the closed branch;

Then select the new branch on the AIB branch locator page, and it'll show you the branch details including the sort-code;

You would think - but that proved fruitless. Ended up having to ring the bank.

Nope. Not there as the branch closed so not available for selection - an AIB account opened initially in branch at Limerick Institute of Technology.

I'm not familiar, but if LIT is the same as UL, then it's 930148.

No, 2 different branches. Got sorted anyway but ridiculous that I had to ring AIB and hold on the line for 22mins to get that information.

If you have the IBAN for the original account you would have the sort code in that.
