Underfloor Heating - Drilling into a floorboard

    Hi,

We are doing up our new build which has underfloor hearting. After putting down laminate flooring in the hallway it is sitting up a bit right at the front door. The plan was to drill down a couple of the boards and then put a trim on top but we have underfloor heating so concerned I will hit a pipe. Builder said the pipes will be at a minimum of 20mm but with the underlay and floorboard that gives me only 35mm to play with.

One option I was thinking of was to drill at an angle into the foundation wall at the front door, any other options?

Also what is the best glue for sticking down trims?
