Drip from Triton Shower

There is a drip from my Triton T90Z Shower. One trip every 10 seconds. Is this caused by the solenoid valve and if so is this the correct replacement:

    https://www.tritonshowers.ie/solenoid-valve-22009120

If so I will order one of these. Can this type of replacement be done as a diy job or do I need an electrician? If I can do this myself, do I need to turn off the cold water that supplies the shower as well as turning off the electricity?

I had that a few weeks ago. Looked online and found initial advice that the solenoid was gone and the whole unit had to be replaced.

But the I found advice that has at least temporarily solved the issue (and maybe long term). The solenoid may not be gone. It may just be jammed. Turn the temperature down to the lowest setting on all the dials and let it run through for a few minutes. Then turn it back up and let it run for a few minutes. Then turn it off. The drip should have stopped as the solenoid has unjammed. If that doesn't work repeat the cold for a few minutes and then turn it off. Then the drip should have stopped.

If that doesn't work or if the drip returns when you put the temperature back up then yea the solenoid is gone and needs to be replaced. I can't comment on that job as the above worked perfectly for me. Drip drip drip is gone.

Yes that would be the solenoid, I replaced one on my T90sr a while back. Easy enough job to do yourself. Make sure to isolate the electricity and water supply to the shower before beginning. The part you listed is the correct one for the T90z.

I would say both off as is your feed for the shower from tank in Attic or mains.

Should also have an isolation switch pull chord to shut power to unit.

Are you in an area with hard water?

You have linked the correct part. No need to turn off the water. Removing the filter stops water flowing through the unit.
