Electric heaters

Hi I am looking fir dome advise on electric heaters for some rooms in my house. They won't be used very often, only on now and again. I have looked at dimplex, arc and B&q brand. Any recommendations on good electric heaters that will onkh be used every 3/4 weekend over the winter months

Would a IR heater be a better option?
If going with the plug in ones get an oil one so at least it keeps the heat for a period before cooling down.

Goid advice about . If plug in one's get oil filled . They heat up quickly and stay hot for a while after turning off..
