Baggage damaged

Hi, I flew with British Airways and our luggage is damaged to an extent that it can't be used again. I realised the damage when we reached home. Could I claim the cost via AA Travel Insurance? Thanks

You should be able to claim for a suitcase from the airline directly but I don't know what their time window for reporting damage is.

Yes, that's what I was told. So I am stuck with travel insurance only at this stage.
