Help in identifying an RTE Drama Mini-Series from the Noughties.

    Can anyone remember the title of this mini-series. I think it might have been around 2010 or earlier. The premise is about a gay record shop owner trying to make a living in Dublin, his lover is a gardai. Anyway the owner gets approached by Dublin criminals in a extortion racket to which his lover tries to intervene and block and he subsequently gets fatally stabbed. Does this ring any bells?
