    Hi all

Looking for advice please for a route for a 3 week trip in June 2024. This would be a once in a lifetime trip but on a budget.

We would like to drive some coastline in California visit giant Redwoods, Yosemite, Sierra Nevada's and maybe Los Vegas and Grand Canyon but not too bothered tbh. I am thinking fly into San Fran and if all comes to all we will go to the hell hole that is LA even if it is just for Disney and Universal perhaps fly home from there. We like countryside, being active, have experienced the heat and humidity of Summer around DC and NY (family there) - does California feel worse ?

Anyone got any experience of driving those distances ? What about a camper van - are there savings to be made for a family of 6 - 2 parents, 22,20,19,17 year olds. Kinda hoping the older two won't want to come but bet they will.

Any good websites or advice most welcome. TIA
