The resident experts will answer better than me but the channels are in 2 different muxes (spelling?). Saorview channels are transmitted in 2 different groups so VM3 is in there with a couple of other channels in the same group. Scroll down this page a bit and you will see the channels in Mux1 and 2. You probably have some sort of loose connection in a cable or the aerial has shifted a bit.

Your probably finding RTE1 is bad too, that would use same MUX as VM3. A move of the aerial in one direction or another might rectify it.

There should be a menu to look at the signal readings. You can see if there is any difference before and after doing changes. The channel numbers for the different transmitters are on this link.

    Signal issue.

Somewhere in the menu is a signal strength/quality meter, what are the readings for the two muxes/frequencies?

    Indoor or outdoor aerial?

Any splitters/amplifiers between aerial and TV?

First thing check all accessible cable connections for security, loose/ non-secure/badly made connections can cause an issue like this?
