4g Router

Looking for some guidance here.
A year ago I bought a 4g weatherproof router from eBay. It took a while to get set up to use through an an post SIM card but eventually got it going. It's now being used to monitor a surveillance camera for my father on his farm.
In the meantime I lost the instructions and the oul lad pushed reset on the router after the thing running out of credit.
I know it's something to do with an APN when you log into the router but I'm having no joy at all with it.
I've tried to SIM in a mobile and the 4g is working. I've also tried another Vodafone sim in the router but again I can't get it to work.
Any help would be appreciated as he's quiet apprehensive with all the theft going on around the place.
