Can't wait for the race. Steak is sizzling on the pan, steak chips in the oven and cider chilling in the fridge. All is good.

Good of Martin to leave the rookies alone on the grid walk.

Looking forward to this, welcome back to all (apart from those who watch later)

Not much has changed with Ferrari - the makings of a good car, but reliability issues it seems.

    Redbull look supreme.

Mercedes downplaying the car, Brundle said it didn't look right at all on his grid walk - but I don't know. It will be disappointing if they have messed it up again as they seemed to be closing the back end of last season.

I like Alonso and hope he does well and that the Aston Martin lives up to the promise, Vettel will be looking on with relishing regret if it ends up being competitive.

so who’s the first DNF of the season do we think ?

Mercedes undoing all the weight saving by not painting their car by slapping sellotape on Hamiltons car.

    Noticed it during Brundle gridwalk.

Much harder to discern the different teams with liverys this year.

I’ve shite eyesight admittedly, but **** me the light here and the dark colours from the carbon fibre colour scheme is making it a struggle to pick some of them out.

Bit of a procession developing here. Max miles ahead already.

Keep getting mixed up between Aston and Merc

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,556 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Alonso saying they can’t do that. They can’t but it’s his teammate that’s hitting him.

Cars being closer together overall is actually causing a DRS train.

Ferrari playing conservation game early and push later i hope

Thought so too. I'm colour blind so had to ask the wife but she said the same!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,638 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

Alpha Tauri and Haas are very similar from the front view

Need to see it from different angle but thought a bit harsh to fully blame stroll, looked a bit like Alonso changed his line mid corner
