I tried the search functions for this and didn't have much look.

I'm a 30 year old man and have difficulty getting and especially maintaining erection and I'm getting more anxious about it.

I'm thinking about going to Boots and getting Viagra however does anybody know what's the procedure with questions, etc?

I've no ongoing medical issues. Do they just hand it out or are the reluctant?

I never needed it myself but I know a pharmacist who was telling me they just ask a few basic questions and explain how it works and limitations and then they just give it to you.

I'm probably overthinking things regarding it at my age.

You can also buy it online if you prefer.

Ya, I was considering that but I'd run into the same question on the phone when they'd call me.

I was mainly wondering was there a good change they'd prescribe it to me.

They don't call you, you answer the questions online

I would strongly suggest that you make an appointment and see a GP. You may feel that there are no underlying medical conditions, but there are conditions that have no symptoms, but can lead to ED. Ideally, find a GP with an interest in men's health. I understand that this is stressful and you may also be feeling embarrassed about it, but you have a right to good health and the doctor will have seen loads of people with this issue. In particular, make sure you get a blood test for testosterone. It may be that there isn't a physical cause, but it is the easiest thing to rule out definitively, so you should do that as a first step.

Go get blood tests done. I did because I was exhausted all the time and it probably saved my life found something that was serious but easy to fix.

Ok, I got them this morning. I will look into going to the Dr.

I've an issue that I don't really want to talk about or be on my medical records that I believe is causing my anxiety.

    Go somewhere like testosterone.ie

They are a GP practice that specialise in men's health. It is not your regular, local GP, so you don't have to worry about bumping into them in the local shop! I haven't been to them myself, so can't speak for them, but there are other boards threads that mention them and give good reports.

You can give a fake name if you are really worried about having something on your medical record, but they are all bound by confidentiality anyway.

I had similar issue last few months, little man went limp one night after few drinks, it got into my head really bad, anytime we were about to do it , it would just shrivel up, especially on the drink, then when having sober sex it would be in my head and struggled to keep it up long enough, couldn't enjoy the sex then and felt no pleasure at all, so went chemist yesterday and goy the viagra connect, holy ****!!!! had the best night ever😂 solid for hours, done it twice, even tried a 3rd time but she was done 😂 woke up with major morning glory, give it a try if the anxiety is getting to much, my wife was very patient and understanding, tried to relax my mind saying don't worry about it just don't be thinking so much about it, but once it gets in your head it just won't go away, for me anyway, others might be different. I'd highly recommend trying it
