Short boots

Anyone ever buy short boots? You know the casual style? Was thinking of getting a pair for short journeys, the odd commute.

Can anyone recommend something? I have full boots, but sometimes it would be handy to have something I can walk a bit in that aren't as awkward as a full boot

Have three pairs, old and two new, recommend Alpinestars. Works great with my travel trousers which already have shin guard armour so can’t wear full boots without taking them out

I use Daytona Classic AC. They are more like walking boots for bikes though. Recommended.

Buy one with a ZIP at the side for easy on and off- laces are annoying.

I wear either high leather lace up boots with a side zip (XPD) or Waterproof Runner Boots (Alpinestars)... Both CE rated.

I use a Dianese Metropolis as a short boot for grocery shop runs etc. The side zip is okay, but not really a feature I would have missed I'd say.

My main everyday boots are a Sidi Adventure 2 tall. Even though it is tall, it still fits under my jeans.
