What is the main differences in the 2 actual driving test please? I’ve heard they are similar so if you were putting the same effort into learning, why would you pick one over the other?

It would be insane to choose C1 as you'd have to do another test again if you later wished to drive a larger rigid.

You also have to have passed the C test if you wished to go for the standard artic licence (C+E).

The only people I know who have done the C1 are the ones going into the ambulance service, As that is the minimum requirement.

It is a total waste of time doing the C1 otherwise, I see a well known school have tapped into the C1 tests for people wanting to go into the NAS.
