No insurance on any vehicle. Just think how much safer the roads would be then because no one would crash into anyone because they would not be able to claim anything so the roads would in turn be safer :) .

Insurance is not compulsory in New Zealand

Their accident and death rate on roads is appalling and over twice Irish levels.

Evidence doesn't support your hypotheses. Look at other countries and also look at the number of uninsured drivers involved in motoring accidents.

It does not make any sense do. Like surely if people had no insurance they would be more caution or maybe the insurance just did not cover crashes with other vehicles. So fire and theft maybe.

Why would it be higher in NZ are they just bad drivers?
