Roofing a shed

Hi I just wanted people's opinions on this if you were to roof a farm shed would you put the roof sheeting on first or the side sheeting? I always though the roof sheeting went on first

Usually side sheeting and gutters followed by roof sheeting.

A nephew got a shed done recently and that was the sequence.

Resheeted 2 of our sheds last year. Definitely put the side sheets on the gutter side of the shed then the gutters, after that it's up to you or whoever is doing the job..

Years ago lads use to put the roof on first to help steady the building for working on, but hoists has made it safer for working on roofs so that need is now gone. Secondly they used the lip on the roof sheeting to allow the side sheeting slide up into it to make a neat joint but now using a side flashing this isn't needed either.
