    3MB download speed isn't exactly fantastic but that's weak broadband rather than dial-up which tops out at 56K, or maybe 128k if you consider ISDN in the conversation. When I first got broadband it was only a 1MB connection but for the time it was reasonably OK.

    I think around 2008 I only had something like 5mb broadband and that was considered normal in my area, at the time I didn't consider it slow or unusable at all.
