I am very pleased to announce that we have recruited 2 new moderators for the Current Affairs and Covid-19 forums. 🤩

Under-moderation of the CA/Covid forums has been frequently mentioned in Feedback and Help Desk threads as an issue that needs addressing so I hope you will all welcome the new mods @shesty and @Stheno

Not much point in appointing extra mod to Covid19 given that that's over now.

CA needs better modding not more of it imo.

I suppose fairness or even handedness would be too much to hope for... or is it to be more of "the banning will continue until we say the right things"

Believe me- A count to a Million thread helps solve all sorts of problems- every forum should have one- it was mindfulness before mindfulness became a thing

This will it explain it more- but remember, it is a Cuckoo's Nest originated idea so it's totally impractical for current affairs, most people will hate it, mods will try to ban it and posters will likely fall out with each other even if they are regular posters and previously friends. But even taking all of that into account, it's great bleeding fun - but don't rely just on me to sell it to you 😀

God rest Sarky and his cotton socks- although they did smell a bit and most people hated him, in a loving sort of way.
