Processed weight of venison?

I've been offered a deer which the hunter says he'll process for me.

How much meat on average would I get?

I know size of animal varies etc so just looking for a ballpark figure.

Couldn't pin him down on approximate weight.

I'm paying per kg so no question of him doing me.

I've never actually weighed any of mine, but age, sex and species of deer will make a big difference to the possible weight.

I suppose similar ratios to a bullock 600kg liveweight, 400 kg deadweight, 200 kg meat yield

hi just this morning I weighed 2 hinds in the skin 29 kg and 24 kg once skinned 25 kg and 20.50 kg I will bone them out tomorrow I would think I will loose another 6 to 7 kg on each on bones . Meat value will be decent enough the bigger deer yield more meat but might not be as nice to eat for normal cooking roasts,steaks,and mincing I know a lot of lads cook different ways I prefer straight forward recipes and deer in the mid 20kgs for the house

I shot 2 fallow prickets 3yr old and 2 yr old and a calf at beginning December.. in good condition with bit of fat.. dropped to butcher straight after been gralloched.. got 36kg of meat from the 2 prickets and 10kg of meat from calf.. the cuts I get are roast leg, chops, rack of cutlets, stew and mince..
