Remember when some people would have a mode on their digital watches that would chime every hour? Just like two beeps or whatever. That's gone now. You never hear hourly chimes from people these days.

That teacher used to start every day by telling us to read a book, then laying out the Irish Independent flat on his desk and reading it for a good half hour while having a smoke... yecch
