Finding details for small claims

    Hi,

I am filling out a small claims procedure but I dont know some details about the seller:

    • The surname
    • The telephone number

I checked CRO and the registration type is: Business name - Individual, so I think that means they are a sole trader. But it doesn't list their full name or their telephone number. Any idea where to find this? This info is not listed on their website either.

There are some documents that I can pay for on CRO website but I dont know which ones would have the info either.

How did you buy anything from them so?

Without a surname and a phone number? It's quite easy to buy anything online.

If you go to the CRO website, find the registered business name and then download the RBN1 form - it will cost you a few euro.

This will show the entity behind the business name. It could be a company or (more likely) a sole trader.

I don’t think the lack of a telephone number would be fatal.
