    Hi folks

I need to get a new garden shed in the next month or two. I think 12'x8' will do the job. Would you know what it might cost to build a concrete block shed. so that's foundation, walls ,roof. I have a spare window and door. This shed is for storage only.I see good timber garden sheds have gone up in price a lot so having a look at alternatives.

    Thanks

I was debating the same thing at one stage. I went with an 8x8 wooden shed, and then I also had a 5m x 3m Adman shed. Buying both of these worked out much cheaper than building a block-type shed. Reason = less vendors.

For a wooden shed you just need to level the ground and put down a few 4-inch blocks; for the steel shed, you would need a concrete base poured.

    Thank you for that info.

I didn't know about that company. I had a look on line and they look like very nice sheds. They have a few display places around .. woodies..b&q etc. So I'll have a look there.

What base did you put yours on. How long have you had the shed and is it holding up well...

    Thanks..
