Can Parents claim tax credits for adult child's college fees

Have an adult child aged 23, currently in the 2nd year of a postgraduate college course.

works part time to pay rent and food while studying. Earns approx €320 per week so PAYE and personal tax credits cover this so no or small amount tax is paid weekly.

We have helped with the college fees but as adult child is not earning enough to pay tax and get the benefit of the college fees credits, could I claim the tax credits for their college fees.
