Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Switching car insurance

Hi, probably a silly question. We got a renewal quote from 123 and was €200 more than last year. The policy is due to expire early next month.

When switching to another insurance company and have the new policy start from when the current one expire. Do we just let the current one expire or do we have to contact 123 and cancel it first?

No need to cancel but often if you ring old insurer they will match the price and save some hassle. They may even match a lower imaginary price you just made up. May not work but worth a try.

Shop around and haggle. Check benefits are similar or better.

If you are certain that it's not setup to auto renew then you've no need to contact 123. Take out your new policy and send them your signed proof of NCD
