This is pure speculation with no linked sources. Potentially damaging to these businesses.

People who work there could see this. Cop on you absolute ……

Cranley cars says “permanently closed” when you google it.

Honda and Opel from what I remember

In fairness their google profile says "permanently closed" - this can only be changed by an authorized person.

Their website is gone and their donedeal page is empty.

Agnelli simply have taken advantage of the fact that their older site had residential zoning and was sold for approx 7.5m. They have now moved to new premises around the corner.

I’ve marked places as permanently closed on Google maps. Anyone with an account can do it. The AI just decides whether you’re right or not, not the business owner.

The rule on here during the recession was not to speculate about a dealer closing without a source due to the obvious impact this would have on employees, their families, customers who have paid deposits, suppliers etc.

I think that rule should be maintained especially when a poster as infantile and banned as many times as Goochy is the one starting the speculation.

I know there is only a few dozen eyeballs left in this forum seeing this stuff but it is no reason to let standards slip.

And if it is the case that Cranley have evaporated online, let the OP say that instead of speculating. I’ve no idea who Cranley are. Again, let’s have some standards in the threads that are started.

I wonder at times about this forum. This thread has been open hours while an innocent enough thread about how dated it is to have paper discs in our windscreens disappeared rather quickly. Who knows why…

Get over yourself for **** sake. You clearly jumped in spouting off without even checking the companies in question, now you are making a clown of yourself by digging down.

Cranleys was taken over by new management - different brands are going in there in the next week or so.

Show room and workshop are being renovated. Watch this space so to speak.

High profile location , Cranleys should have been a much more successful dealership . Even with Toyota they were not very successful .

I bought a car from Cranleys a few years ago and still get regular texts for servicing and such. The one this morning said they were been taken over by Linders Group and wanted permission for data service record transfers. Seems pretty much straight forward.

Looks like linders will be selling that funky new Chinese electric car brand Ora, looks like they were forced to take control subaru also ( same importer ) nobody buying Subaru buy maybe have both brands together might give Ora more creditability
