Presumably I'm not the only one sh*tting it that I haven't captained Haaland?

Same boat here, will be a tough watch.

    Kepa

    Cucurella White Cancelo

    Salah Rashford Martinelli Pereira

    Haaland Mitro(c) Darwin

    Ward Almiron Trippier Patterson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,319 ✭✭✭thefallingman

    Kepa

    trippier shaw koulibaly

    rashford andreas martinelli salah

    mitro(c) Haaland Nunez

    ward cancelo almiron castagne

    good luck all 👍

    Kepa

    Trippier Shaw Cancelo

    Martinelli KDB Rashford Andreas

    Mitrovic Haaland (c) Kane

    Subs:Ward Almiron White Bueno

The split in captaincy choices makes this week very interesting. Some very strong benches around too (debated bench boosting but said I’d hold it)

There’s miss number one for Nunez

    Sigh

    Martial -> Mitro

    Robbo -> Digne

    2 FTs

    Kepa

    Trippier Digne Shaw

    KDB Rashford Martinelli Andreas

    Nunez Haaland Mitro (c)

    Ward Almiron White

Did everything correct, was a hard finish falling away from the ball. That was unlucky and would have been Salah assist.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,413 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Nunez has a shot cleared off the line. Salah set it up.

Zanka & Elliot booked. I'm guessing not both are owned by very little

    Kepa

    Trippier Shaw Cancelo

    Mount Salah Rashford Andreas

    Mitrovic (c) Haaland Nunez

    Subs:Ward, Martinelli, White, Bueno

Most teams have the same 8/9 starters and then the captain spilt.

Dry January was probably a bad idea as a Nunez owner...

Nothing much he could do about it, dangerous corner in and hit his leg after Fabinho I think missed a header.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,951 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

When ya cost £85m and you’ve missed the chances he has in the last two games he has to be scoring.

He is finishing like Grealish and not Haaland!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,788 ✭✭✭Benimar

You are basing it on the chances he missed previously. He did nothing wrong with the chance today. Mee just did well to get back. Sometimes other players do good things and it isn’t always a case of a player doing something ‘wrong’.

Fu©kin hell That is why I have no Pool defs

I don't actually understand why the other two goals were offside. Liverpool very lucky to be only 2 goals down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,208 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

VVD off at ht will hurt a few. Tsimkas and Elliot off also.

    Robertson Matip and Keita on.

He can't catch any breaks, taught on VAR he'd be onside and defenders foot would keep him on.

Saw the predicted lineup had Liverpool with Robertson on the bench so swapped him to Alexander-Arnold with my free transfer.

    Pope

    Alexander-Arnold, Trippier, Castagne, Cancelo

    Almiron, Rashford, Trossard,

    Mitrovic, Haaland(c), Kane

    Ward, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saliba

Going to be a difficult week with my team having the three Arsenal and three Newcastle.

    Good luck!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,951 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

I have to be missing something with that line up but I can't see what? - nothing short of criminal benching Odegaard and Martiinelli imo. I'm actually shocked that you have started with 4 defenders instead of playing at least one of them lads. Trossard has little to no form and is playing away from home.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,594 ✭✭✭macraignil

Point taken. I know it makes little sense to bring club support into FPL decisions but would get no enjoyment from seeing Arsenal score aginst Newcastle so just gambling on the Newcastle defense having a good day. I know the odds are against what I'm doing with the Arsenal players in such good form but its just the choice I've gone with as its an awkward position to have three players from each team. Proabably Trossards last outing in my team and think there is a chance Everton might be outplayed by Brighton so think he's worth giving a chance to anyway.

From a FF perspective, tonight should be a dud for me as I have 5 players in the Arsenal/Newcastle game, BUT, I'm really looking forward to watching a good game of football.

just gotta laugh, was going to get Shaw last week, but didn't bother, and now he's score a goal - will probably get 15 points, after his 9 last week.
