    Hi,

I want to get 1" electrical solenoid valve before my plumber comes back to put in front of my Plate cooler.

I have asked him where I can get one and he doesn't know.

Anyone have any Ideas on were I can get one?

I have found a few online but I'm not sure what voltage to get.

    12v, 24v 220v(no) 240V

My electrician is on holidays so he is not answering his phone

Burkert are a good make. I have spec'd them for industrial applications before.

There are 2 types generally for water, direct acting and pilot assisted. With direct acting all the power required to close the valve comes from the solenoid. These valves tend to be bulkier. With pilot assisted, the pressure of the water helps close the valve. A min water pressure is required to operate.

It's a solenoid valve on any plate cooler that only turns on the water when the milk pump is running so saves alot of water being wasted
