Anyone having a problem with eye infections this winter, 4 ewe's so far, all have responded well to amoxicillin and antibiotic ointment, its not pink eye, it's a more aggressive infection

Got a dose of that couple of years ago around this time of year.Started with one or two and treated with antibiotics and ointment tubes.

Didn't separate them and it spread. At one stage had 40 or 50 with weeping eyes.

They were off on green cover so only temporary pens and a lot of time gathering them in.Left them alone as it was gone to the stage where its was half a days work everyday and it cleared itself up in a couple of weeks.Ended up with just 2 ewes gone blind in one eye.

Think one form clears itself up without too much intervention which was I seemed to have got.
