Pour on homemade apparatus

Anyone made a homemade apparatus for applying pour on to cattle.

Doing cattle later in week and the container that came with bottle will need to be filled twice. So just wondering if anyone has any pics of anything they have done to make this easier?

I normally use a dosing syringe (60ml) as it gives you more control on measuring and applying pouron especially when cattle are hairy - you can get the tip of the syringe under the hair and run it along their spine.

Ya large syringe as well use a container to hold the pour-on. I normally use a 2L milk supermarket container cut out in such a way the handle remains on. Put in 5-600mls at a time in the container and draw it out with a syringe as you get to the last few cattle adjust what you put in.

A neighbour farmer tacks the pour on container onto a 10ft long 2×2 length of timber through the plastic at top beside the measuring unit with a tex screw so he can do cattle from the barrier wit hout having to move cattle out of pen or having to enter pen himself.seems to work 4 him anyway.

I know a guy who pours it straight from the bottle with the nozzle cap on it.

Dectomax comes with no dispensing device, but I just used a plastic syringe. As above, keep tip of syringe in the hair to stop it squirting off the animal.

Do cattle for lice with a 60ml syringe from the feed barrier. As long as it hits them I find it works.
