Easy way to pocket €60 using CurrencyFair. by sending from one account to another.

Steps below if anyone wants to try:

Create an account.

You can lodge funds using your debit card

Step 3)

Just send to your revolut / N26 or any other bank account you have.

Step 4)

Just do a transfer of say €2,100 (minimum ) from your currencyfair account to REVOLUT or N26.

Step 5)

Once done, of you do not wish to leave this amount in Revolut, just transfer it back.

You will get EUR 60 (and me) in your currency fair account , which you can withdraw to your local bank account straightaway.

Thanks Sitamoia. I used your code there. It'll take a couple of days before the transaction goes through because Bank of Ireland have a payment limit for new payees.

Thanks again Sitomoia - I've received my referral bonus now and I hope you did too. In case anyone follows all the steps but doesn't see any sign of the bonus, that's what happened to me originally. Currency Fair couldn't see that I had used a referral code when setting up my account. But in fairness when I contacted the helpdesk they were very responsive and had it sorted very quickly.

This worked fine the past few days. I used suave.4u referral. Verification was a picture or video recording on phone plus a picture from ID card. My bank (PTSB) queried the transfer by phone. It came through in a day or two. There was a 3 euro transfer charge, euro to euro transfer. It went out the revolut within a few hours. Overall no issues. I will compare their transfer exchange rates to revoluts when I need to transfer USD share money back to Euro next month and may use this account for that. Currencyfair queried by email why I transferred money in and out without any exchange. I said I was checking would the money transfer correctly as I did not know the company or process and wanted to see before using for a USD share transfer soon. I will update here later if the 60 euro comes through, does it typically take days or longer if processed automatically?

Hi,

I would be very surprised if you got the €60 for doing a euro to euro transfer. They would only make the 3 euro off you on that one but with an actual transfer say euro to pound sterling they would make alot more on the exchange rate.

Let us know if got the €60. It goes in on the day you received the euro on the opposite end.

Suave.4u it definitely does not work, I already messaged you currencyfairs message saying may transfer (as per your instructions) is not eligible. An exchange and transfer is required, not just a transfer. It may have worked in the past but not now.

Guys this deal is still working and is the easiest way to pocket Eur 60.

Previously someone stated that an exchange is needed, but that is defo not the case. My friend just followed the above steps and we both got paid. Any problems, just PM me.

This was the reply (As I already sent to you suave.4u) I got from currency fair after transferring 2200 euro (from permanent tsb) and then transferring back to Revolut. No exchange as per your instructions, just a transfer. Maybe it is working some of the time and sometimes gets flagged by system and doesn't work. I would not recommend people going to the hassle of following rules above and it possibly working. With an exchange I expect it will always work. Maybe some are getting queried and some not.

I would certainly question this advice suve.4u.... 'this deal is still working and is the easiest way to pocket Eur 60' It was a waste of time in my case unless I use it later for a transfer and it pays out for a second transaction.

I am not sure what to say. Two of my friends and a Bordsie got the cashback after you tried. I am not sure why your transfer did not go through, but there is nothing to lose in trying IMHO cause worst case scenario you can send the amount back.

In one case currencyfair reached out to me to confirm. I replied back and that too was sorted.

AIB -> Currency fair -> revolut (then back to irish bank if you wish).
