Shitake Mushroom Plugs

    Hi. I want to grow shitake mushrooms using plugs. I have ordered them thru amazon and from a uk website, but neither have turned up. Can anyone give me some advice? Is it legal to import and grow them? Any advice would be appreciated.

    the few UK sites that i was aware of which used to sell mushroom kits, were not shipping outside the UK earlier this year because of brexit.

    there's a chap down in killarney trading as artisan mushrooms, but his site is not well stocked at the moment, and he hasn't responded to a query i sent about a week ago.
