Charlotte will definitely outlast Minah - question is, will Charlotte also go before the end- there could be a few twists to come re; the traitors themselves.

Joe's reaction after Alex revealed he was a Faithful was hilarious. After pretty much going from person to person about how he caught Alex's "slip-up" and then spearheading the roundtable discussion about Alex because of that one comment, as soon as Alex said he was a Faithful Joe was like "Well, we all got that one wrong but let's not dwell on it, let's just move on"

Charlotte has taken to the Traitoring well. Her name was brought up at the roundtable but just in passing, and she kept her composure well enough. Plus the suggestion to try and murder someone from the team where a shield was won. Big play, but if it works it'll work well. However I can see them going for Jake rather than Joe just because of how adamant Jake was that Linda was a Traitor so early in the game.

Joe is the most annoying of all of them - unfortunately at this point, being annoying won’t get you murdered- and it’s actually very possible Joe will last till the end, simply because he’s so obviously a faithful - personally I’d vote him off now just for all the stupid decisions he’s made .

The show is getting very good now.

Joe is so confidently wrong most of the time that it's getting entertaining. But suspicions must be aroused among the faithful.

Leanne is very narcissistic - her determining who is a traitor is only based on their behaviour to her and not based on their overall behaviour. She is letting an unattractive side of her personality show which will be her undoing.

Lisa named Charlotte and Minah but a broken clock is right twice a day.

Frankie - sometimes I like her and sometimes she is a nothing player. Yesterday she looked like a Barrel Racer on Yellowstone.

Anna - sad to see her go. She was a bit of craic if not a great player.

Charlotte is looking like the dark horse no one saw coming - especially Minah. Good to see some more brains and gameplay in the Turret.

Charlotte took us by surprise how she became traitorish in a flash . Minah will be sorry she recruited her I fear ! Charlottle now knows that Minah voted two traitors out so will be watching her back

Well I'm happy to say I was wrong about Charlotte, she is a good traitor so far. Minah better watch her back. Only 4 episodes left and I don't want the faithful's to win. They don't deserve to win. It would be great if the traitors took a chance and murdered Joe because he is a waste of space. It would put the spotlight on Alexander which is unfortunate because he is one of the better faithfuls. Roll on 9pm tonight.

How do you know Minah voted two traitors out? You must be a traitor.

That comment from Alex last night was unreal, talk about shooting himself in the foot. Was very hard not to vote for him after that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,811 ✭✭✭bren2001

I thought it was a pretty innocuous comment. As a viewer, its clear what he was trying to say.

However, I understand why the Faithfuls jumped on it.

Being in that pressure cooker environment I can understand why people rounded on him for the comment, the way he worded it initially did somewhat imply inside knowledge. However I felt his rebuttal to Joe was very good, and should have steered them away. I'd not last long there myself though, I'd not be able to help winding the likes of Joe up and telling the other faithfuls to do the exact opposite of everything Joe says given his penchant for banishing faithful.

Yeah he could have explained it better that everyone else she voted for had already been murdered or banished and so were obviously Faithfuls (if indeed that's what her voting record was, can't remember myself). It'd be easy enough to check with everyone else who was left in the game whether Linda had voted for them or not. But it was a combination of people like Joe desperate to jump on any clue and believe they're the clever one who picked up on a clue which got a Traitor eliminated, and the pressure of trying to explain and defend yourself in a balanced and composed enough way that you're not being needlessly defensive or argumentative.

“It would be great if the traitors took a chance and murdered Joe because he is a waste of space.”

Oh that would be sweet - I think secretly the faithfuls would be praising the traitors 😀

I don’t see too much of a way out for Alexander - he’s the newbie as far as the rest are concerned - it’s possible the producers of the show will intervene though and maybe fix it for him to get a shield - it’s also possible the traitors will be given another “mission” that might expose one or both of them - there’s a lot more “influence” from behind the scenes in this series - if the producers want to stirr things up they will - it won’t all be down to chance and what the participants do

I think Minah picked the wrong traitor and it could cost her the game. Charlotte is a massive upgrade on Linda. Hope the traitors win and I'd love to see Minah and Charlotte win it as a pair but I think Charlotte has the ability and character to out Minah at the end-stages of the game. She has a ruthless streak in her that I really like.

Alexander and Lisa aside, I've been really disappointed with the faithful. Alexander has the ability to do something and I think we are starting to see Lisa develop into a decent faithful. Leanne is behaving like a spoilt child at times. The rest of them are bringing nothing to the table.

Joe is like Minnie Brennan, from The Riordans (yes, I'm old 🤣). Going around whispering to everyone about Alex - THAT WAS A SLIP UP - and yet again, being spectacularly wrong. Alex dealt with him well at the round table, in fairness.
And then once they knew they were wrong - yet again - Joe shrugs his shoulders. Prat.

It's quite funny watching how they hop on anything at all as a clue to someone being a traitor. I know it is a strange environment, and I guess it's easy to get a bit carried away.

Charlotte, as a traitor, so far, top marks! 😁

It’s the only way Charlotte or indeed anyone could possibly play it- you can’t underestimate Minah and it’s clear that anyone taking on the role of Traitor is essentially being her patsy if required - it will be down to who does the group turn on next? I’d say they’ll focus on Minah first but it’s a bit away yet

I think that's the interesting thing about how they're doing the final this time, where people aren't going to say if they were a Faithful or Traitor as they're banished. In both previous series it was always one Traitor sacrificing another in the final to make people think they got the last Traitor. Now, the smart play might actually be to try and make sure you win it as a duo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 18,544 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

They've done the non reveal in other countries now so was kinda obvious it would happen with the UK version as well. Not that it never ended up with a final 2 but this kinda of guarantees there will be only 2 left at the very end and a 50:50 chance as a faithful if you win or not

Winning as a duo would be good to see - just not sure the trust is there on either side - and with Minah in firing line now, especially with the “drink minding” outburst she could well be voted out way before the end

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,880 ✭✭✭FortuneChip

I think Minah started out quite strong, but the game is just getting more difficult and I don't think she will reach the end.

Not because she's no longer good, but the circles are getting smaller and it's taking a lot less for a majority vote to form. Most of the faithful are more interested in keeping themselves in the game than they are at catching traitors - they're voting for who they think will go, rather than who they think should. Charlotte won't need to do much to highlight how Minah never really leads conversations at the roundtable, but weighs in after she's read the situation.

I wasn't sure about Alexander as a player when he first arrived, but he continues to take it for what it is, a game show. And he actually seems like a nice guy.

They ganged up on him like an interrogation after getting him out of the coffin "Tell us EXACTLY what happened", just because that's what Anna had done. He was far too polite with them. Whereas by Leanne's own admission, she was hugging Leon after freeing him.

Alexander really messed up when explaining the deathmatch thing though. He kept explaining it as a hypothetical even though there was no reason to. It wouldn't save any time compared to saying who actually had and picked what cards.

He does seem very nice and genuine, but sometimes he's being a bit too diplomatic.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Paid Member Posts: 8,635 Mod ✭✭✭✭HildaOgdenx

Yes, I didn't really get why he started explaining it like that.

That said, they were horrible to him, when they found him. Just because he wasn't Leon. He is a lovely guy, and one of the few who seems to be aware that it IS a game. He was brilliant singing as well in the doll game, with Claudia cracking up laughing, and saying btw Alexander is single. 😁

I think he will be banished soon, but I hope not.

I know there's a lot of tension, and it's an immersive game, but players seem to be taking it far more personally this year than in previous years. Makes a lot of them very unlikable

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 92,394 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

Minah has heat from Freddie (whom Charlotte didn't tell her) and Lisa, I think maybe Jake too might be suss on her

I hope they have killed Joe, I'd prefer Alexander stay over Leon or Leanne

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,027 Mod ✭✭✭✭yerwanthere123

The final might be a hard watch if both Minah and Alexander don't make it. They're the only two left I'm actually rooting for, nobody else deserves a shot at the money I think.

Losing both Joe and Leanne asap would rapidly improve the viewing experience.

Early days into this new version of Charlotte, but at this stage, I hope she wins, and if Minah also makes it, then grand. If it is to be a Faithful win then only Alexander seems like a worthy candidate- though he's unlikely to survive that long. Maybe Jake at a push. The other Faithfuls are just thoroughly unlikeable.

They were Joe, you’re one dumb numb-nuts!

Idiots the lot of them - so long Leon you never deserved this bunch of losers

I doubt any food was served at that table - it’s just a cheapo trick to give the cameramen a chance to video them talking bullsh1t and endearing themselves to the audience

Alexander not getting a shield after lugging those torso's up the hill..

    .. wasn't even in consideration.

    Madness!

Quite warmed to him tbh.. largely comic relief but less bitchy and gossipy than most.
