The thing about this is perception. If Michael Martin or Mary Lou were to attack Leo over this it would be seen as an attack on the gay scene as a whole. You are correct. If it were a heterosexual male with a young wan in a pub it would be headline stuff.

Among the gay community anyway it's pretty well known that they are in an open relationship, as they regularly attend gay clubs in Dublin together. So..a bit deflating for the gossipy ones in the audience.
