Am jealous. Just walked home from the local. Just sleet at present. Hoping to wake up to something nice.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

Nice looking snow falling, but most melting on contact here in D.16 as the drip from the thawing of Thursday night's snow continues. Simply not cold enough for a top up as I feared.

Sticking well near Liffey Valley and also near Kill on the N7.

Someone clearly made an illegal maneuver at the roundabout, the tracks in the snow showing it well.

    Nothing in Leopardstown yet.

    Disappointing!!

Fabulous flakes and everything that had melted was layered in a lovely new sheath of thick snow but, even at 0 degrees, it is all melting again - shame 😳

Oh well, can't win them all. No complaints from me after how Thursday and Friday were with how rare such days are in December.

Not a word about ppn in the South on Met Eireann website yet gfs gives quite a dumping on the coast! You would think they would hedge their bets

Loud clap of thunder woke me up. Met Eireann radar shows a strike in the Irish Sea. Balbriggan/Skerries closest to it so must have been v loud if you live there. I am in Sandyford and could hear it!

    Snowing and sticking in Greystones!

Well....a snow/sleet/rain/graupel mix and leaving a grey slushy coating on everything.

Didn’t even freeze here in Carlow last night I think. Was hoping to get out this morning to take some photos but it’s nothing like yesterday 😕

Is there much on the roads in Sandyford?, my daughter has a party in Jumpzone there and am dreading the drive this morning.
