Hi there, I’m interested in these speakers but not sure which would suit my room size

the room is 8x4 metre, but half of it is dining area, so area for tv/music is around 4x4 metre

I read that the silver 500 7g need a big room so not to be overly bass heavy. Would the silver 300 be better for this size room or would I get away with the 500?

    Cheers

    Adam

    Hi Big_Moe.

    Both those speakers are fantastic.

Personally I would go for the 500's. I don't think they would have any issues in a 4x4 room.

Our demo room is slightly smaller than that and we have never had an issue with Demoing the the larger Silver range speakers.

We currently have them in stock in the Gloss Black and Walnut finishes.

I could offer at little deal on the Silver 500 @ 1899 Euro delivered.

Hi Kenny, thanks for this - that's what I was hoping you'd say! what's the availability like on the Ash finish?

what about an amp for the 500's?

im in two minds, whether to go for a non-smart amp and use a Bluesound Node with it. Or to get a smart amp. for smart amp I'd want Spotify/Tidal Connect, HDMI ARC and vinyl input, bonus if it has room correction. the arch SA30 seems to do all of this, would that be good with the 500's? or any other recommendations

    thanks

    Adam

    Hi Big_Moe.

Thanks for coming back to me.

I would need to order in the Ash finish direct from MA but this could be 2-3 weeks as I already have a delivery incoming from them but no 500 in Ash on it.

The Arcam SA30 is a cracking amp and would suit the 500's very well and as you say it has everything.

It priced at £1899 / 2599 Euro so the sterling price on this is by far the better deal. Not much margin but I could get it down to £1849 and reduce the Euro to 2159 Euro delivered.

    Let me know your thoughts.
