Pipes and Extension Advice Please

    Hello

I live in an old 1940s Corporation house (mid terrace). It has an extension (1980s) that is raised above ground level, there is a gap of about 2.5 feet between the floor and the ground. The old clay pipes that connect the houses (sewage drains) on the terrace together are falling apart and blocking due to cracks and subsidence. Not everyone is onboard with getting a proper repair and I am starting to worry about pipes breaking down and sewage leaking under the extension due to continuous unblocking water under pressure.

I was wondering is there any way of just repairing / replacing the pipes under my extension? Is this even an option?

Has anyone any experience of this? Essentially how fecked am I?

    Thanks

I'd probably get a builder in to look at it and give an opinion.

It's messy, I won't lie, and it sounds like they should all be replaced to do the job properly, but if you get someone on site they can probably advise you on all your options.
