Two wires in attic for tv aerial

As the post states, i have two wires to connect to aerial. They are glued together, how would i connect this to a tv aerial?

Sounds like twin type cable for a satellite dish setup. One of the cables can be used for a regular TV aerial.

Post a pic if you can, also there should be a cable-type printed on the cable at about a 1m spacing.

After investigation i realised this is the case, i have a bunch of coaxial cables under the stairs pointing to each wall plate. The logic im working under is i need to connect the ones with labels living room to the one labeled attic.

Now my understanding is the two siamese/dual coaxial in the attic are the exact same just used to connect say box/aerial on the wall plates?

Ok, aerial already in place. Straight join from aerial cable to TV point cable or distribution amp/passive splitter if feeding more than one point.

I installed the aerial, and as you can see the two coaxials, was i correct in thinking they do the same job. The two wires come down under the stairs(attic label), then there is two wires that go to bedroom, kitchen and living room you can see bed label here.

If i connect the living room to attic(the one with aerial connected) then it should work right? As long as i pick the correct living room one, which i can just do trial and error with
