There is a new category where you can plant upto 1 Ha without forest license. Does anyone know can you do a few of these around the farm or is it limited in number of plots or so many per year? Do they qualify for establishment grant or forestry premium? I presume you still get full BPS on areas but would have to mark out…

I understand that it has not yet been rolled out-it will in 2023.
Land in or near designated areas will have to be looked at. The premium will be for 10 years, @ €2000 or thereabouts.
