Doesn't seem to be any further price drops for Blackfriday, The €399.99 (2 game bundle) from Meta or Currys is the best deal. The same bundles are €419.99 in Argos and €429.99 in Smyths.

Standalone device and you can connect it to a powerful PC for even better graphics/games but most people use it as a standalone.

Great for gaming/socializing/exercising and some adult stuff apparently ha and more

A big part of it is the social element, Meta/Facebook own it after all. Its amazing when you first put it on, at least he will be active gaming on it, some of the boxing games give your a proper workout. If nobody in the family has experienced VR, get the Richie's Plank game for a good laugh on Xmas day, set it up with a plank of wood on the ground. I always use that game for people who haven't experienced VR

For the budget conscious this is an excellent head strap addition, I'd say it's a must get item if you aren't getting one of the more expensive ones! I picked it up for £6 earlier in the year, it was £10 during Blackfriday but it's £13 now, keep an eye on the price I'd say it will drop again

This is probably the best value VR experience at the moment, it's a wireless standalone unit so you have great movement. It's actually amazing, well worth getting for the experience!

If the youngfella is under 13 set it up on an adults account, they have banned underage accounts

Currys & Smyths have now removed the 2 game bundle listing, Amazon seems to be out of stock, if your still looking for one Argos have them for €419.99 with plenty of stock available or you can get the 256GB bundle for €489.99 from META.
