New Eddi install, missing solar

Got my solar in during the week with a harvi/eddi setup included. Eddi was configured the day before the solar was setup.

Noticed a warning in the app this evening that its missing data. Looks like i can see the house usage, grid flow and the eddi but the panels are missing from it.

Is it needed do ye think?

If it is needed, is it easy to fix by myself or should I contact the installer?

You need a CT clamp fitted to the cable which goes from the inverter to your fuse box in order to see your solar in the Myenergi app.

Yea, I figured I needed the clamp. Wasnt sure where it needed to be placed but that makes sense to. Thanks Galego

Slot Space free on the harvi which is next to the fuse box but the one clamp is on the mains.

l'll have to order another clamp to track.

I've the same myself. Maybe same installer :-)

Why would you care to see the solar in the Myenergi app?

Some people think it isn't very accurate as it is AC rather than DC as already monitored in the inverter app.

Heh, yea probably tbh!

I think its partly for ocd/ completionist reasons but also because The apps are new to me so still really novel. it seemed like the app was missing part of the picture so was concerned it wasn't working fully without that additional datapoint, does not appear that this is true.
