Second hand MTB - where to buy?

    I'm looking advice for a mate who's looking to pick up a reasonably good mountain bike. Where do people recommend? Adverts/Donedeal, MTB buy & sell on Facebook, ex rental from biking.ie etc?

    I think he'd be happy enough with a hardtail and probably not looking to spend much over €500 as he's only getting into it for now.

    Picked an old full suss commencal meta 5.5 off a Facebook group. Didn't want to spend too much but. It needed a bit of work but it's great. Even if it is a 26.
