Hi I'm looking for some advice , I am looking to do an attic conversion in my house it's an old semi d built in the 1970s and the ber rating is E2 I'm wondering how much would an attic conversion be and would it improve the ber rating

Depends on location but could be anywhere from €20-30k depending on what's required such as dormers, gable conversion etc etc

Not enough info to give guidance.

Will it increase BER, no, not unless you specifically carry out upgrade works to the rest of the house too.
